Dr. A C Muthiah, the most perceptive and far- sighted industrialist in South India, who is at the helm of affairs in Tamilnadu Cricket Association for a long period and his yeoman services to national cricket as President of Board of Control for Cricket in India have evoked deserved commendation from knowledgeable quarters in the world of sports.

He has been nominated by ICC as the chairman of the Nomination Committee set up to select the next ICC president.
